THE BASICS OF EVERY EVENT
Luncheons 4 Life South Florida provides a casual forum for defenders of the unborn to get to know one another and understand all of the resources available in our community. It's for churches, ministries and service providers of all kinds. It's also for individuals seeking their own roles in pro-life ministry. The free lunch is meant to bless those who give their time and talents to the work and to build the unity which will multiply our impact. It's always on the second Tuesday of the month. Doors open at 11:00 am and the program begins at 11:50.REGISTER THROUGH EVENTBRITE HERE

Networking and Lunch
Florida House of Representative, District 54
Our speaker for this event is Erin Grall, member of the Florida House of Representative representing District 54 (which includes Indian River County and part of St. Lucie County) — and sponsor of the House version of the anti-abortion Senate Bill 404, signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis on June 30, 2021, requiring parental consent for a physician to perform an abortion on a minor.
The timing of Rep. Grall’s remarks on anti-abortion legislation initiatives in Florida, other states, and the United States federal government are especially important to our audience in light of:
- the State of Florida’s and other states’ initiatives to adopt “Heartbeat” legislation similar to that recently enacted by the State of Texas
- the Women’s Health Protection Act recently passed in the US House of Representatives that seeks to impose abortion on demand at any stage of pregnancy through federal statute, and
- the Mississippi case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization which will be heard by the US Supreme Court the first week in December, 2021 which has the potential to overturn Roe v. Wade.
