Ms. Rosa Armesto has been practicing law for 25 years and she is a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in juvenile law. Rosa is a wife and mother of four and a criminal defense attorney. Rosa is also an allied attorney for Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).
Rosa is one of the signers of the Amicus Brief submitted by women scholars and professionals to the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, where the draft opinion of the case was recently leaked to the media. The friend-of-the-court brief rejects the notion, set out in the Roe and Casey decisions, that the ability of women to achieve economic and social equality depends on abortion. The amicus brief cites empirical evidence pointing to the sustained economic and social achievements of American women regardless of abortion access.
